Vasilis served as the head painter for the National Opera of Greece for over five years. During this time, he collaborated with notable stage designers, producers, directors, and artists, including Franco Zeffirelli and Charles Cusick Smith. His works have been showcased in numerous prestigious exhibitions, such as the Donopoulos IFA, the Elaiourgion Museum of Contemporary Arts in Chania, Crete, Greece, the Heraklion Museum of Visual Arts, Crete, Greece, the Re-Culture 4 International Arts Exhibition in Patra, Greece, the AVRA ART Gallery, PA, USA, the 7th Biennale at B&M Theocharakis in Athens, and the Exhibition Hall of the School of Philosophy of Athens, Greece.
Between 2017 and 2021, Vasilis lived and worked in Crete, where he established the Mystic Garden Art Foundation, near the ancient cemetery of Petras. The foundation served not only as his personal studio but also as a hub for artists from around the world to come together, exchange ideas, and participate in art workshops, residencies, and exhibitions. The foundation continues to operate and grow under by other artists who shared a similar passion and vision for art and society.
Vasilis is now based in Athens.
